My Professional Experience
I enrolled esthetics school in 2014 and received my Basic Esthetics license in 2015, one year later. Once I obtained my license, my next goal was to open my own spa. Shortly thereafter, also in 2015, I received my spa license and started Divine Spa and Body. As I continued to grow my business and my knowledge in skincare, I wanted to learn more, so I completed a master esthetician program and received my master esthetician license in 2017. As a master esthetician, I'm now able to provide advanced treatments, such as microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and more. I've always wanted to do corrective skincare by going deeper into the dermis.
Not long after I received my master esthetician license, I started looking for ways to share my knowledge and help others in the esthetics field. I love what I do and decided one way to share my knowledge was to teach esthetics. So, I studied hard and was able to obtain an instructor license. I've now taught esthetics and provided hands-on training to over 100 students; being a mentor and sharing my knowledge. In addition to my licenses above, I'm approved to provide required hands-on experience for apprenticeships in Virginia.
Always looking for ways to grow personally and professionally, I made a goal of opening my own esthetics school in 2020.
